Weekend Reale 2026

Two sunny days at the Reggia di Venaria: almost ten thousand people, five races and one finish line, in the Gran Parterre.

The Weekend Reale 2026 was one huge party. Clear skies, October light over the Gardens and La Mandria, the Alps right there in the background: we couldn’t have asked for more.

Saturday belonged to children and families; Sunday to the Maratona Reale, the 30 km, the half marathon and the 10 km. Start and finish at the Reggia, and in between the most beautiful park you could ever run through.

The story

Saturday: the little ones kick things off

The weekend began with the Corsa del Principino & Family: 4 km through the Gardens of the Reggia for children, teenagers and families. Some ran, some walked, some pushed a pushchair.

In the Gardens, the Race Village. And above it all the sun, which lit up the Reggia like a postcard that Saturday afternoon.

Sunday: four starts, one finish line

At 9:00 the Maratona Reale, the 30 km and the 21 km set off together. Twenty minutes later it was the 10 km’s turn. Ahead, the Reggia; all around, the colourful balloons of the start pens.

From the Gardens the course heads into La Mandria Natural Park. The marathon pushes on as far as Druento and San Gillio, then turns back towards the Reggia. Gravel tracks, tree-lined avenues, the canal with the Alps beyond: scenery you never forget.

Almost ten thousand people

Competitive runners chasing a time, amateurs at their first half marathon, groups of friends in the green Weekend Reale shirt, whole families. Each with their own race and their own goal.

That’s what we love most: seeing so many different people running in the same place, on the same day, with the same smile.

Finishing in the Gran Parterre

The finish line was in the Gran Parterre, right in front of the Reggia. Arms in the air, tears, hugs, selfies with the people who’d run alongside for kilometres.

Under glorious sunshine, every finish was a little celebration. We’ll carry those moments with us for a long time.

Thank you, and see you in 2027

Thank you to the partners and institutions who made all this possible, to the volunteers who spent the weekend along the course and at the aid stations, and to every runner who chose to run with us.

The Weekend Reale returns in October 2027. We already can’t wait to do it all again.
