Socialrunning.
At Base Running every runner matters just as much, whatever their level or their race times.

A family of more than 500 athletes, brought together by a passion for running and the values of sport and wellbeing.
Every year we take more than 20,000 runners from their first kilometre to the finish line of their dreams: the marathon.
Our races wind along more than 750 km of roads, through unique landscapes and places.
An international community: athletes from 12 countries, with different backgrounds and cultures.
We put the social into running
The Running Team is the heart of our association: a group of runners united by a passion for running and the desire to share every moment of it.
A.S.D. Base Running was founded in 2007 around an idea that was new at the time, social running: running not just as a sport, but as a way of sharing and growing as a person.
At Base Running every runner matters, whatever their level or their watch says. We’re with you before and after training and races: technique, mindset and nutrition, carefully chosen locations, useful race packs, generous and well-stocked aid stations, celebrations and cultural extras. Our motto? “Mens sana in runner sano”: a healthy mind in a healthy runner.
Running with us means moments where sport meets fun, culture, nature and community. Each of our events is tied to the place where it happens, and no two races are the same.
And so the experience doesn’t end on race day, we organise group training sessions open to friends and the curious too, in several parks around Turin: they’re led by federation-qualified coaches, with pacers for every speed.
To redefine running: from a solo activity to a complete social experience, through social running. We want a community of runners where physical and mental wellbeing go hand in hand, where every run is a chance to discover something new, and where a passion for sport blends with culture, nature and social commitment.
To promote running as a shared experience of wellbeing, where every runner, whatever their level, plays a leading role in a journey that brings together sport, culture and community. We are committed to an inclusive environment where training means personal growth and sharing, backed by professionals and plenty of learning and cultural moments.
