Who can take part
La Quattro is a non-competitive run and walk, open to everyone: schools, young people, families, groups of friends. There are no rankings. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
School & Family Run
4 km to run or walk through the heart of Turin, from Piazza San Carlo to the Murazzi on the river Po, on the morning of La Mezza and La Dieci. For schools, young people, families and anyone who wants to be part of it.
The third race of the morning, alongside La Mezza and La Dieci: same city, same streets, but no stopwatch. Run it, walk it, finish it together.
On Sunday 11 April 2027 La Mezza di Torino and La Dieci di Torino, the Turin Half Marathon and 10K, reach their twelfth edition, and for the first time they bring along La Quattro di Torino: 4 km for schools, young people and families. It starts at 8:40 in Piazza San Carlo, ten minutes after La Mezza and La Dieci, and finishes at the Murazzi on the river Po.
The name keeps the number, like La Mezza (the half) and La Dieci (the ten): the three races are one family. “School” because it’s open to every school, from primary to secondary, and echoes the historic School Run in Piazza San Carlo; “Family” because you run it with parents, grandparents and friends. There are no rankings: run, walk or mix the two.
The entry fee is €10 until 4 April, and half goes to the Fondazione Paideia, a charity that has supported families of children with disabilities for many years. At the finish you get a medal, green like the logo, and a bag with post-race refreshments.

Entries open on Saturday 7 November with the CEDAS We RUN Race Village in Mirafiori, and on 7 and 8 November there’s a special fee. You enter directly online on the Winning Time portal: no need to sign up on our site first.

The start is at 8:40 in Piazza San Carlo and you run along Via Roma towards Piazza Castello. From there you enter the Giardini Reali (Royal Gardens) and cross them along the avenue that leads to Corso San Maurizio, at the first kilometre.
Corso San Maurizio, along its tree-lined central avenue, takes you through the Vanchiglia district to Via Bava at the second kilometre. Then you turn onto Corso Napione and reach the side road of Corso Regina Margherita by the third.
The last kilometre is on Lungo Po Machiavelli, with the Po beside you, all the way to the finish arch at the Murazzi. After the line a fenced-off corridor takes you up the Murazzi ramp and along Lungo Po Diaz to Piazza Vittorio, where you collect your medal and refreshment bag.
Elevations calculated from the EU-DEM terrain model (25 m) along the official track: figures are indicative, the official course measurement report prevails.

Entries open on Saturday 7 November 2026, together with La Mezza di Torino and La Dieci di Torino, and you enter directly online on the Winning Time portal, with no need to sign up on our site first. The fee is €10 until 4 April 2027 and €15 from 5 to 7 April; there are 1,500 bibs.
After the finish arch at the Murazzi, follow the fenced-off corridor: up the Murazzi ramp, right onto Lungo Po Diaz and on to the first exedra (the curved colonnade) of Piazza Vittorio. That’s where you collect your medal and refreshment bag.
The corridor keeps the finish area from getting crowded: volunteers will show you the way all along it.
Half of every entry fee goes to the Fondazione Paideia, which supports families of children with disabilities. Base Running has backed Paideia for years, including through the Corsa del Principino & Family at the Weekend Reale.
La Quattro was created with the City of Turin’s Youth Policy department and the Fondazione Paideia.
Involving young people in identifying their needs and interests, and turning them into policy, is where the department’s work begins. It coordinates the youth-led centres and opportunity networks for teenagers, the Universal Civil Service, the urban art panel, the HUB della Creatività space, relations with the universities, the TorinoGiovani portal and the Informagiovani centre.

The City of Turin’s portal for young people aged 14 to 35: work, education, opportunities abroad, volunteering, health and life in Turin, plus events, concerts, exhibitions and festivals. It also covers the InformaGiovani centre at Via Garibaldi 25, a free and anonymous guidance desk.
