On Sunday 11 October the Weekend Reale races are run at the Reggia di Venaria, the royal palace just outside Turin: you start at the Reggia, pass through Parco La Mandria and finish in the Gran Parterre. This year, together with the Reggia, we’ve come up with a way to make the day even more special for runners: a dedicated €10 ticket to visit the Reggia.
Two discounts to make the most of the day
As every year, entry to the Reggia Gardens costs €2. The ticket is valid all day and open to everyone, so also to family, friends and supporters coming to cheer you on along the course and at the finish.
New this year, and just for runners: a special €10 ticket to visit the Reggia. It’s the chance to explore, at your own pace, the halls and galleries of one of the most beautiful places in Piedmont, after running through it.
How to buy tickets
The €2 Gardens ticket is already on sale online, at this link. Buying it in advance will make it easier to plan your day.
The €10 Reggia ticket for runners can’t be bought online. You can ask for it at the ticket office on the day, or book it in advance by writing to prenotazioni@lavenariareale.it. We recommend booking by email, especially if you’re coming as a group or would like a set visiting time.
Sunday’s schedule
The Race Village opens at 7:00. At 9:00 the Maratona Reale, the half marathon and the 30 km set off, while the 10 km starts at 9:20. The marathon finish closes at 14:30. Once your race is done, the Reggia is waiting just a few steps from the finish line.
Sunday’s races are sold out; you can still enter Saturday’s Corsa del Principino & Family. All the Weekend Reale info is here.
See you in Venaria!
